Our Product Testing Support

We strictly perform completed series of tests to produce our top-quality and reliable titanium pipe, titanium exhaust tube, titanium bar, titanium plate and titanium forgings. Out of these, a few are listed below.

Raw Material Checking before Manufacture

This test includes chemical composition testing, purity of titanium sponge, granularity, 0A, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 grade.

Hydrostatic Testing

This hydraulic testing is necessary for each tube tested, titanium exhaust tube, seamless titanium tube and welded titanium pipe, without showing bulges, leaks, or other defects, and an internal hydrostatic pressure performed acc. to ASTM / ASME standard articles.

Electric Testing / Eddy Current Testing

Electromagnetic test is as nondestructive test method, an alternating current is connected to the detection coil to generate an alternating magnetic field perpendicular to the workpiece. If titanium pipe is defective, the intensity and distribution of the eddy current field will be changed, so that the coil impedance will be changed, and the detection of the change can determine whether there is a defect.

Pneumatic Test

Each titanium tube, titanium alloy tube, tested shall be withstand an internal air pressure of 100 psi (0.69 Mpa), minimum, for lasting 5 – 10s, without showing evidence of leakage. The test method use permitted easy detection of any leakage by using the pressure differential method or by placing the tube under water.

Ultrasonic Testing / UT

Ultrasonic nondestructive testing is a key technology to effectively detect whether metal products have defects. Ultrasonic testing method has higher accuracy and sensitivity, and can detect, locate, evaluate and judge a variety of defects inside the workpiece.

Penetrant Testing / PT

The penetration detection is not affected by the workpiece geometry and defect direction, and can simultaneously check the defects opening on the surface. The defect display of penetration detection is very intuitive, can roughly determine the nature of the defect, detection sensitivity is higher. It is used for U bend titanium tube and titanium forgings.

Impact Test

Mechanical impact test is a test method to determine the safety performance, stability and effectiveness of industrial and civil equipment under external impact or action.

Positive Material Identification / PMI
